  1. What do I do if the classroom iPad is not connected to Wifi?
    1. Restart the iPad. See #8 below. 
  2. What do I do if the campus Wifi is down?
    1. If there have not been any other reports of WiFi being down a tech from AT/ITS should be sent to room to verify diagnosis.
    2. If it's a known issue that the campus Wifi is down, the iPad will not be able to connect to Vyopta, therefore room control would be inoperable. The user would be instructed to call ITS .

  3. How can I access the features of the room?
    1. Step 1: Select a Computer
      1. Use Crestron (on podium) to indicate computer you would like to use (built-in or lecturn laptop).  
    2. Step 2: Turning On the Classroom 
      1. To turn on the classroom, locate the iPad and turn on the “vControl Touch” App.
        1. If app is closed, open it and select "Clark Hall 238"
    3. Step 3: Selecting a Feature 
      1. Presentation 
        1. See #5 below 
      2. Call 
        1. Touch the call button, to make any calls. The phone number can be dialed, searched from directory or history, and saved under favorites.
      3. Meeting 
        1. WebEx: Remote audiences can view the main screen and content from remote audiences can be viewed on the main screen using the “standard” WebEx session process. 
          1. Make sure your desktop is the main screen source. Start or join a WebEx-session. 
          2. If you are “sharing content” take control of the “WebEx-session” and “WebEx-share” your desktop. 
          3. If you are “viewing content” via “WebEx-window” on your “desktop” this should be displayed on the main screen from your PC Device.
      4. Record 
        1. Click on “REC” button to start recording. 
        2. Click "End" to stop recording.  
  4. How do I switch inputs?
    1. Use the Crestron Panel (on podium) to indicate computer you would like to use (built-in or lecturn laptop).
    2. Choices are Room PC, Lectern Laptop Bring Your Own Device (BYOD), Wall Laptop (BYOD)
  5. How do I select presentation modes?
    1. Computer
      1. Scroll to the computer icon once the device to be used is connected.
      2. Press "Present" 
    2. Document Viewer
      1. Place the documents to be presented under the Document Viewer. 
      2. Using the iPad controller App, scroll to the “Document Cam icon" and press "Present" 
    3. Camera 
      1. The instructor camera focus or the student camera focus can be projected on the main screen by touching the “Instructor Cam” or “Student Cam”.
  6. What do I do if I can’t switch between inputs?
    1. For inputs on the iPad, see #9 below 
    2. For inputs on the Crestron, see #4 above 
  7. How do I know if my session is already recording?
    1. You will know that you have successfully started your recording when the "REC" button turns red and says "END"
  8. How do I restart the system?
    1. Power down the controller (iPad), by pushing the power icon in the top left of the iPad. This automatically shuts down the Next Generation Classroom. The camera and the main screen will return to the “powered off” positions.
    2. To turn on the classroom, on the iPad, turn on the “vControl Touch” App.
  9. What do I do if the input source is frozen/stuck?
    1. Double-click the iPad's Home button to see your most recently used apps.

    2. Swipe right or left to find the “vControl Touch” Vyopta app.

    3. Swipe up on the app's preview to close the app.

    4. On the iPad, turn on the “vControl Touch” App.
    5. Select "Clark Hall 238"
