Creating Correspondence Templates within iSupport

General Instructuions

  1. Click Preferences

  1. click Personal Correspondence

  1. Click Create

  1. Go to Basics

  1. Set the title according to it’s use.

Change the Set To Address to Associated Customer to ON

  1. Set the From address to isupport-service@sjsu.edu and set the Subject to [SJSU iSupport] Ticket Update

 

  1. Check all of the following boxes

 

 

Adding a Correspondence Template with your Zoom Link

  1. Follow the Correspondence Template tutorial

  2. For the text of the correspondence, use the Request for On-the-Spot Zoom Verification Canned Response found on the Identity Verification Protocol Page

  3. Before inserting your Zoom link make sure when you start a meeting that the link directs to the Personal Meeting Room

    1. On the Zoom app

      1. Log into your account using SSO (The company name is SJSU)

      2. Click in the Carat icon (^) next to where it says New Meeting and select Use my personal meeting ID (PMI)

  1. On the Zoom web portal

    1. Go to http://zoom.us

    2. Log into your account using SSO (The company name is SJSU)

    3. On the Profile page scroll down to the Meeting section and click Edit to the far right of the Personal Meeting ID

    4. Check Use Personal Meeting ID for instant meetings.

    5. Click Save

  1. Copy your Zoom meeting link

    1. On the web portal, click on the eye icon to see your full zoom link 

  2. Paste the link in the [INSERT YOUR ZOOM MEETING LINK] section of the canned response 

  3. Make sure to save the template! It is complete when after saving the page closes

  4. Now whenever you are sending a correspondence, this template will be an option 

  5. Please mark on the spreadsheet once this has been completed Personal Zoom Correspondence Template
