For Students/Incoming Students/Applicant |
Incoming students should receive an email from Admissions with their SJSU ID number. This should happen within 5 business days of receipt of application.
If the student has
not received their email and it has been more than 5 days, refer the student to Admissions Office.If the student hasreceived the email but has lost or forgotten the ID refer to the tutorial underneath to walk the customer through the SJSU ID Lookup tool.

Faculty/Staff should receive an email from HR with their 9-digit SJSUOne ID Number.
If received but forgotten, refer to the tutorial below.

If the student has attended the school within the past year, refer to the tutorial below.
If it has been more than a year, either: refer them to the Office of the Registrar, or
direct customer to MySJSU Alumni Account Help Form and fill out the information

Direct customer to 'ID Look Up' option (sjsuone.sjsu.edu/idlookup)
From https://one.sjsu.edu/ , enter "SJSU ID lookup" in the search bar and click on the tile
Fill out the requested information:
Once the information has been entered. The ID number will show up in RED.
A result shows up if all 3 pieces of information are on file and are correct.
