Tips & Tricks

Nov. 28, 2016 - A professor called and reported that he could only get an image on one monitor at a time. I visited the room and confirmed the report. Turning the house left monitor on and off would cause the image to move to that monitor, but disappear on the house right monitor. The HDMI splitter is in a hard to reach spot on the back of the house left monitor. I shut off the splitter and turned it back on but the problem persisted. So, I shut off the splitter and both monitors, waited, then powered both monitors back up, then the splitter, and the image appeared correctly on both monitors. ~Steve
